Keys On How to the Rams can beat the Cowboys

I apologize for my lack of update on this blog due to my hectic workload and family obligation but this doesn't prevent me in watching my favorite NFL team, the St. Louis Rams. As the season goes on the Rams were able to win a game against a division rival (Arizona Cardinals) but fell short on their first game on the road (Atlanta Falcons). This week the Rams are to face the Dallas Cowboys at Dallas, Texas. And here are the keys for the Rams to win the game:

  1. Minimize Penalties:
Coach Fisher has been adamant on playing smart football and not "shoot themselves on the foot".
  2. Play better pass coverage:
The Rams have been burned by superior wide receivers in two week and this week they are gonna face Dez Bryant, who is equally good as Larry Fitzgerald and Julio Jones. So in order for them to win the game they should limit Dez Bryant and Jason Witten.
  3. Establish good field position on kickoffs and punt returns. With Tavon Austin in the roster, having a good field position should be a priority on special teams as this has been the problem during their game against the falcons
  4. Go Controlled No-Huddle and establish a good lead
Sam Bradford has mentioned during his post game interview that he's very comfortable running the no-huddle offense on which has been a factor on the later part of the Falcons game. Sam is very much capable on emulating Peyton Manning so as to run no-huddle but controlled attack offense (balancing the run and pass as the situations need).
  5. "Use the available weapons":
With the beavy of weapons Sam Bradford has, OC Brian Schottenheimer exploit the number of talented receivers that the Rams have. I would like to see Stedman Bailey getting involve specially on the red zone packages as he one of those sure hand ones.
